I think the Cafeshop concept is pretty cool. It lets you make your own online store where you can sell things like tshirts and coffee mugs with your company's logo on it - and it only takes a few minutes to setup

Business History: How business strategy tamed the ?Invisible Hand?

The Female CEOs are also taking over the business. "Women buy 81% of all products and services, buy 75% of all over-the-counter medications, make 81% of retail purchases, and buy 82% of groceries. Women account for 80% of household spending. Eighty percent of the checks written in the United States are signed by women"

I want my WLAN

Do you want to see a feature film on your mobile?

Is Wi-Fi flat rate dead?. "If you believe that a flat rate for all the data you can eat will exist in the cellular world, as it does over CDPD, think again. To the carriers, data transfer is the same as voice airtime because it consumes network capacity."

Listen.com looks very good. It is the first service from the record industry that seems to have a chance against filesharing. More than 15,000 artists are available. The one thing missing is the opportunity to burn your own cd's with popular music (you can do that with classic music) - so its still just some kind of radio.

Lifestyles of the Mac and Famous. I've allways wanted a mac because it looks so good. But I'm still a bit in doubt because I think (like many others) that it will give a lot of problems with programs that are not mainstream.

The Guardian has picked up on weblogs. Many nice links to other weblogs. But most importently they try to integrate other weblogs into their own newscontent.

Homer says hack your DVD player. Hollywood is now after Homer Simpson for telling people on the shows website how to hack af DVD player. A spokesperson says that ".... has been written in very much the same irreverent and humorous tone of The Simpsons itself". When will Hollywood wake up and see that the joke is on them?

As you migth have noticed I have upgraded to Blogger Pro. Why you say? Well for no specific reason. It has some nice features like picture publishing. But I guess the main reason is that I enjoy the Blogger service and if the 35 $ it costs will help Blogger stay a float its worth paying. After all not all things should stay free on the web - especially not when it is as good as Blogger.

Finally a new record from the one and only - Bruce Springsteen. It will hit stores on the 29th of july and will be called "The Rising". On the official website you can listen to two of the tracks.

Whole lot of happy hacker campers. "H2K2 boasts a huge wireless network which attendees are welcome to jump into. Plenty of connected computers are available for hacking with no worries about pesky legal prosecution." . Have a look at the program for the conference and you'll find things like The New FBI and How It Can Hurt You and Introduction to Computer Viruses.

What's the next big thing? A conference for thiefs where they have 1,000 locks you can break without fear for the police!

Do you have anything in common with these people besides the fact that they also think selfexposure is a good thing? The more I think about it, it sounds foolish. BTW did I mention that i'm comming?

Quote: "Consumers are looking for the ability to bundle the products they want in a fashion unique to each individual, and the Web will provide this capability ....". This is from af new Harvard book that has just been published. Is it only me or does this sounds like something you heard 2-3 years ago. Come on Harvard we know you can do better.
